The moment has finally arrived - I have reached the last page(s) in Enchanted Forest - the first adult colouring book I ever had, and what made me take up adult colouring as a hobby. Fortunately or not, these last pages are two fold-out double spreads of symmetrical dragons surrounded by about a thousand leaves. I've been looking forward to and dreading this moment in equal parts for a long, long time (almost five years!) and every spare pocket of time is taken adding to this bit by bit.

This book is so significant to me in so many ways, and finishing it signals the end of something that was part of my life for so long. When it's complete, the book will be going back to its rightful owner - my grandmother. The book was gifted to her in 2015, as a way to keep her occupied and keep her active, but arthritis in her hands made it difficult for her. She said to me, " This would be a beautiful book if it was all coloured in." That has stuck with me, so I'm gift-wrapping it and giving it back to her for Christmas.

There will be two flip-through videos over on the YouTube channel in December. One will be a no-commentary video for those who just want to look at the pretty pictures and get some inspiration, and a longer, 'story-time' video where I talk about my colouring and personal journey along with the book.

Hopefully I'll see you there, and you can enjoy the fruits of my labour!
